I seek to tell stories about the humanities through dance.

I am a descendent of an immigrant who arrived in America by boat in 1640 and was sold into indentured servitude. My researched-based choreographic work explores the human condition in order to bring awareness to human rights and value.

My current process is research-based through on-site data-gathering, primary source interviews, and information from books, film, journals and the internet. I am especially interested in incorporating primary source material through oral or movement investigations with contributions from the source(s) and the dancers representative of a community coming together for a greater purpose.
